Branch meeting – Tuesday 18th December 2018

Written by Les Middlewood

Guest Speaker: Paul Clinton of the BOG Micro-Brewery, Stevenage

The December Branch Meeting is to be held on Tuesday 18th December at the Hertford Club, Bull Plain, Hertford at 8pm.

A copy of the agenda can be found below.

Our speaker is Paul Clinton, from the BOG Brew of Stevenage. Paul will be talking about “The brewery, its beers and new developments”. Bog Brew started brewing in Stevenage in 2017, with beers brewed mainly for Paul’s “On The Green” restaurant in Stevenage Old Town. Demand increased and the brewery capacity has been extended to 500 litres. His beers can now be found in other Hertfordshire pubs. Paul will tell us the story behind the brewery’s name and his beers, including Barking Spider, a dark mild which won Beer of the Festival at last year’s Stevenage Beer and Cider Festival, Porter Potty, Pail Ale, Bottoms Up and Bombs Away – you’ll by now notice the common link! There will be an opportunity to try one or more of his beers.
