CANCELLED (Trip to Ware Beer Festival)

Written by Ian Boyd

Please note this trip has been cancelled

Not a CAMRA Branch-run Beer Festival but a Beer Festival run by keen real ale drinkers, many of whom are Branch members.

This is a fantastic little Festival held in the charming environment of the Ware Arts Centre, based at the atmospheric former maltings building in Kibes Lane – the Festival accessed around the back through a yard off New Road.

All profits go to local charities.

The Festival has 26 real ales, including traditional bitters, golden ales, milds and porters, plus 4 ciders and perries and is open on two evenings, Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd of April.

Hot food is available throughout.

This is a ticket-only Festival with tickets solely available from The Crooked Billet in Musley Hill, Ware or the Brewery Tap in Ware High Street.

The Branch has secured a number of tickets and will be running a mini-bus from St Albans with pick-ups along the way on Friday 21st. More detailed timings to come, but if you’d like to join us please email me at ian@hertsale.org.uk.
