Cask Marque launch South Herts Ale Trail

Written by Les Middlewood

Cask Marque has launched a new version of its popular CaskFinder App that incorporates a 50+ pub ale trail in South Herts, offering participants the opportunity to win a range of prizes. The new version of CaskFinder will host local ale trails across Britain as the organisation gets behind calls for people to visit local pubs more often.

The South Herts Ale Trail includes all Cask Marque accredited pubs, covering areas such as St Albans, Hertford, Welwyn Garden City and Ware. Pub-goers will need to visit 10 pubs or more between 17th December and end of January to stand a chance of winning one of the prizes which range from a brewery trip to T-shirts, beer vouchers and beer and pub-related books.

For more information visit https://cask-marque.co.uk/cask-finder/.

You will need to download the free CaskFinder App to take part in the Trail.

Cask Marque is a national independent body that assesses beer quality in pubs to ensure standards are well-maintained, annually issuing the familiar plaques that can be found outside all pubs that have achieved accreditation. Publicans of accredited pubs pay an annual fee to take part in the scheme.
