Calling all CAMRA Young Members!
Never done any pub judging before and fancy having your say in the Branch Pub of the Year competition? This may be your chance to shine!
Pub of the Year is an award given to the best pub in our branch based on simple categories such as beer quality, style and décor, service and welcome and alignment to CAMRA’s aims. Anyone in the branch can get involved – just visit the qualifying pubs and put your personal score out of 10 on each of the categories to get an an overall score. At the end of the process the top pub goes through to the Hertfordshire Pub of the Year competition and ultimately may make it all the way to National Pub of the Year!
Our branch is split into four bitesize areas and I will be judging the pubs in two of them across two Saturdays. I’ll be going around the eight qualifying pubs in St Albans on Saturday 26th January and the six qualifying pubs in Ware and Hertford on Saturday 9th February.
