Branch Meeting – Tuesday 17th September 2019

Written by Les Middlewood

Our September Branch Meeting will be held at the Bull in London Colney on Tuesday 17 September.

We are very pleased to announce that our speaker is Tom Stainer, CAMRA’s Chief Executive Officer. Tom has been in post since the start of 2019 but has also served at CAMRA’s head office in St Albans for 10 years prior to that. Tom will give us some background to his work and an overview of CAMRA’s current campaigning strategies and activities. There will be time for Questions and Answers.

The Bull is a 17th century timbered building near the River Colne. Popular in London Colney, this vibrant pub offers good value home-made meals well into the evening and a range of real ales with two changing guest beers sat alongside Timothy Taylor Landlord and Hertfordshire ales.

Come along and meet your Committee and fellow branch members and find out what’s happening in South Herts. The meeting starts at 8pm and we aim to finish by 10.00pm.

Local evening bus routes include the 84 service – St Albans to Potters Bar – which runs in both directions beyond 10.30pm and the 602 service – Radlett, St Albans and Hatfield.
