After two years away, St Albans Beer & Cider Festival returns to the Alban Arena in 2022 for the 25th time, organisers South Herts CAMRA have announced.
With this year also marking 50 years since the Campaign for Real Ale was established in Hertfordshire, the event marks a silver and golden jubilee celebration all in one – as reflected in the colours of this year’s brand new logo, which will appear on the souvenir glass.
After an enforced absence due to Covid-19, the Festival has a new team of volunteers behind it. While popular features from years gone by will be making a return, the team also plan to freshen up the feel of the Festival, making it a truly inclusive and up-to-date pageant of real ale, craft beer and cider, with delicious street food, great live music, and other attractions thrown into the mix.
The Festival – the entire proceeds of which fund campaigning and local good causes – will take place from Wednesday 28th September to Saturday 1st October, opening from 12noon to 11pm every day.
