Hertford Club, Hertford
Written by Phil Defriez

Our next branch meeting is on Saturday 20th July at the Hertford Club, Bull Plain, Hertford at 1pm (not 8pm as previously circulated).

This will be followed by a Special General Meeting to approve the branch accounts and a presentation of the Silver award for South Herts CAMRA Club of the Year 2024.

Come and join us at our annual summer Saturday branch meeting to find out everything that’s happening in CAMRA South Hertfordshire branch, including updates on St Albans Beer & Cider Festival and other forthcoming events, including summer ale trails. There will also be a presentation about how you can get involved in branch selections for the Good Beer Guide and Pub of the Year.

A buffet will be provided during the event.

The Hertford Club is located in Hertford town centre, in the Grade II* listed Lombard House, a characterful 15th and 16th century building on the banks of the River Lea Navigation. The Club is the current silver South Herts Branch Club of the Year and regularly features in the Good Beer Guide. It will have two or three handpumped beers and traditional cider. The Club welcomes CAMRA Members. Please sign-in as you enter.

An agenda and minutes of the last meeting are available from the branch secretary at

Minutes can also be downloaded from the members area.

I hope to see you there!
