Congratulations to Tring for winning the best bottled beer with Death or Glory and coming runner up with Pale Four in the premium bitters and pale ales category.
The beers were judged by brewers and industry experts and organised by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) at their flagship BeerX event in Liverpool.
Jared from Tring said:
“The team at Tring Brewery are thrilled to hear of Death Or Glory achieving Best Small-Pack beer at the national SIBA awards, having subsequently won gold in its class (Small Pack Champion Premium Strong Beers), along with Pale Four achieving silver in its class also (Small Pack Champion Premium Bitters & Pale Ales). For over two decades now we have been brewing D.O.G to commemorate the Charge of the Light Brigade, one of the founders a proud Royal Lancer.
We have always had faith in its sweet, estery allure, a faith assured as CAMRA’s Bronze Champion Beer of Britain in 2016. We will certainly take this in our stride going forward, with our future heavily focused on more bottled beer releases!
Thank you again to SIBA for the amazing opportunity and to the judges for their consideration, to be crowned national champion is humbling.”
