Head Brewer Matt Sutton of The 3 Brewers of St Albans was presented with the award of Herts Beer of the Year for their Porter at this year’s Watford Beer & Cider Festival. Their Porter is brewed with four malts including a generous amount of Chocolate Malt to give the beer its distinctive smoky / coffee tones. As with all 3 Brewers beers the Porter is brewed with fresh water from the breweries own borehole. The beer is available now in selected local pubs.
