How to order real ale and real cider/perry off sales from your local pub or brewery

Written by John Bishop

Over the next six months we will all need to change the way we carry out our daily lives, but this does not mean we need forego the pleasures of drinking real ale. Some local pubs and breweries are stepping up to the mark and providing take-away and delivery services so that we can continue to enjoy real ale and in some cases meal accompaniments at home rather than in the pleasant surroundings of your local pub.

We would encourage everyone to use these take-away and/or delivery services safely along the lines that the Government have suggested. You can find details of your local pub on the CAMRA website whatpub.com.

A list of local breweries that may be able to offer you take away real ale in polypins and other similar containers can be found on our #PullingTogether Campaign Page.

One other way to help pubs over what will be a temporary, but long, cash flow crisis is to pay a little now and support the pubs they love in return for pints or meals in the future. See crowdfunder.co.uk/pay-it-forward.

Continue to support your local pubs and breweries through this difficult time. Together we can get through this crisis.
